The NDMCC members came forward in ‘Flood Relief’ (Posted on June 04, 2010, 06:48:57 AM )

Disaster Management Centre (DMC) of the Ministry of Disaster Management took immediate steps to respond to floods and provided immediate relief through the district secretaries. With the increasing flood damages, Ministry of Disaster Management requested assistance from the members of the National Disaster Management Coordinating Committee (NDMCC) to provide immediate relief for the affected. Many NDMCC members responded immediately by providing food stuff, non-food relief items and other essential items needed for immediate recovery interventions.
