Introduction Training Programme of MOBILISE Platform

mobiliseThe MOBILISE project (www.mobilise-project.org.uk)  has been working with DMC over the last two years to establish the foundation for developing a digital platform that can support multi-agency collaboration and decision making in disaster risk management in Sri Lanka. 

Followed with a series of brain storming sessions with the Director General of the DMC, a virtual workshop was conducted via Zoom to develop on the functionality of the MOBILISE platform to show how to upload the risk information to the MOBILISE platform and use the information for future disaster risk reduction or disaster response planning.  

After the welcome remarks by Director of EOC, Introduction to the MOBILISE platform, Data upload and visual Exploration of Data Layers were discussed by facilitators of THINKlab, University of Salford, UK. 13 Staff officials of the EOC attended the workshop.
