 Vision

The vision of the finance Division of Disaster Management Centre is to ensure efficient economical and effective supportive services of finance and supplies for Disaster Management activities eradicating bottlenecks that enables the DMC to over come the challengers of 21st centaury

 Mission

The mission of the Finance Division of DMC is to function in a target oriented way in order to fulfill the day to day finance and supply needs while ensuring the observance of laid down and accepted rules and procedures in managing finance and  supplies as well as accounting and rendering of timely prepared reports and statements.

  Key Responsibilities 

  • Preparation Annual Budget According to the Govt .Budget circular & Circle and getting the Approval by the parliament
  • Obtaining Imprest from the Treasury
  • Certification of Vouchers
  • Payment of Certified Vouchers
  • Rendition Monthly Account Statements ,Cash flow statements to the National Budget Dept. through the Ministry
  • Annual Verification of Stores and Fixed Assets
  • Preparation of Final Accounts and Submit to the Auditor General
